Photography seems to run in my family just a little bit. My papa was into photography, he had his own darkroom in his basement where he would process all his film and print the photos. But it’s funny, because it wasn’t until a few years after I picked up a camera I knew he did all this. I started taking pictures in early high school, it would just be of my friends at the park or around the neighborhood. I was also a competitive cheerleader in highschool and would shoot at competitions of my sisters team as well as the others in the gym. This is definitely where my love of sports photography came from. Because I loved taking pictures so much I decided thats what I wanted to go to school for. This is where I learned film photography, even more sports photography, really started my portrait business and worked at a few places shooting product photography. Now here I am, my own photography business, working for an awesome small business shooting photos and still a little obsessed with sports photography.
